In February 1982, the free exchange market on Danshui Road, Luwan District, Shanghai. Since 1978, on the one hand, the state and enterprises have increased housing investment and accelerated the pace of housing construction, and on the other hand, they have begun to explore and reform the housing system. In June 1980, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council officially allowed the implementation of the housing commercialization policy, which opened the prelude to the reform of China's urban housing system.

Baosteel's first phase project put into operation

On September 30, 1985, the No. 1 blast furnace, the landmark project of Shanghai Baosteel's first phase project, was put into operation. On December 23, 1978, the second day after the closing of the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the Shanghai Baoshan Iron and Steel Plant broke ground. This is the world's largest and most advanced iron and steel complex imported from abroad after my country's reform and opening up, which has shortened the gap between China's steel industry technology and equipment level and the world's advanced level by at least 20 years.

Shekou Development

In March 1987, in Shenzhen Shekou Industrial Development Zone, a foreman was supervising the construction site in order to improve labor efficiency. Shanghai Stock Exchange Opens

The first private enterprise to set up a trade union

In this flood relief, the entire army and the armed police force have invested more than 300,000 people, dispatched more than 2,200 planes, rescued and transferred 4.23 million people affected by the flood, blocked breaches and eliminated more than 13,000 dangerous situations.

Driving the Qinghai-Tibet Railway

In August 2002, Chinese railway builders were working hard on the Fenghuoshan Tunnel, the world's highest railway tunnel. The altitude here is more than 5,100 meters, and the construction conditions are very difficult. The Qinghai-Tibet railway line is 1,956 kilometers long. It is one of the four major projects in the new century in my country. It is the first railway to the hinterland of Tibet and the plateau railway with the highest altitude and the longest line in the world.
